🤍 hi there!
I’m Joy
And I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m an artist, mama, and founder of Meridian Soul Care—creating sacred spaces through coaching and gatherings, offering a steady, compassionate presence.
My heart is to help you reconnect with your intuition and deepest longings. Having walked through my own dark nights, I know that the journey to hope begins when we allow our hearts to be truly seen.
If you feel stuck in your calling or creativity, weighed down by emotional baggage from relational or church hurts, or are experiencing a life transition—I know how you feel and can help you find courage, healing, and direction.
My Nena, my inspiration
Growing up as a missionary kid between Chile and the U.S., I often longed for a sense of belonging—to feel at home in my own skin.
In the summer of 2009, years of religious trauma and pain came to a breaking point, and I suffered a psychotic break. The road to healing has been long and winding, but it has led me to a place of safety and stability in the arms of Jesus.
The spiritual practices that nourish me most—imaginative prayer, soaking, lectio divina, journaling His voice, and creating with Him—have become lifelines. Resting in His love has been deeply healing for my soul and restorative for my mental health.

Creativity has always been at the core of who I am.
As a lifelong artist, I love creating spaces where others can encounter God’s love through the Holy Spirit.
Whether it was a decade of homeschooling my kids with creativity woven into everything, giving them safe spaces to process and create, or the past 15 years of designing and hosting creative gatherings, it’s always been about making room for beauty, connection, and the sacred.
Through this journey, I’ve learned to truly care for my soul, embrace who I am, stop abandoning myself in relationships, and rediscover a deep, life-giving connection with God.
My Story.
This is my testimony, recorded at a ministry called The Well.
What is Soul Care Coaching and How Can it Help?
To truly embrace a healthy view of ourselves, we have to engage our souls holistically. Our soul isn’t some damaged, dangling extension of our lives or a sentimental interruption—it’s the very essence of who we are.
That’s why I see Soul Care at the crossroads of spiritual formation, mental health, and self-care. Emotional healing and spiritual growth aren’t about quick fixes; they’re about the long game—small, consistent encounters with the love of the Father that transform us into the dream of God.
Through my Jesus-centered coaching, I hold space for you to process, heal, and reconnect with your God-given purpose in a gentle, judgment-free environment.
With specialized training in Brainspotting (a trauma treatment similar to EMDR) and deep personal experience navigating spiritual trauma and mental illness, I help women move through everything from creative blocks and church wounds to major life transitions and relational struggles.
This is for you.
Whether you're a busy mom feeling overwhelmed, a creative seeking to reconnect with your calling, or someone healing from past wounds, soul care sessions offer practical tools and spiritual guidance tailored to your unique journey.
I believe that taking time to listen deeply, honoring each person’s history with God, is what creates space for genuine transformation.
Through intentional soul work and intimate connection with Jesus, my clients develop emotional resilience, establish healthy boundaries, and step confidently into their next season of life.
